Formulation development is a process used by pharmaceutical companies in order to come up with the best compositions for a new product. The formula is developed using very high tech equipment and scientific processes. One company, KBI Biopharma, has committed themselves to finding the best formulas available. They have determined that the best way to create new formulas is to use a series of proteins. They will add or remove specific amounts of proteins in a product to determine if it is a viable product with merit.
